Question
I have some flatware that appears to be a type of Kings pattern. I am not familiar with patterns or manufacturers at all. Each piece has a mark that is inset on the back of the handle. All I can make out is some sort of emblem with the letters AP below the emblem. Wondering if you have any idea as to what these are? Not sure if they are silver or plated either. Thanks

Answer
Hello Dorine.  I can't really identify what you have with the info provided.  Variations of the kings pattern were made in abundance both in the U.S. and in Europe by many, many different manufacturers.  If you want to post a picture of the mark, I should be able to identify it if it's American; if it's European, I won't be much help.  The mark will also help determining whether it's silver or not.
