Silver and Flatware - Rogers & Bro reinforced plate

Expert: Michelle Lieberman - 8/25/2009

Question
I found a green box with Rogers & Bro - Royal
Hostess 10 pc. Deluxe Set still in plastic. When looking it up I cant find Royal Hostess. Can you help? Is it worth anything?

Answer
Hello Tim.

Silverplate really isn't my forte, but I've got some thoughts here.  You're right, there is no Royal Hostess pattern.  I'm thinking what you may have is a hostess set, which is a group of serving pieces.  Are they serving pieces?  Or are they regular place pieces like a knife and fork?  If you can post a picture of the pattern, I'll see what I can dig up for you.

Regards,
Michelle
