UPDATED INFORMATION (2/23/2013):
I have been contacted by someone who may be interested in purchasing your set. If you would like to contact this person, I'll ahve to ask that you send an email to GeorgiaSilver@bellsouth.net. I'll have the potential buyer do the same thing. Then I'll send an email to both of you so you can discuss this between yourselves.
END OF UPDATED INFORMATION
I'm not certain what your question is so I'll assume you are interested in value.
This is an unusual set by an unusual manufacturer. Given that the secondary market is very thin for this set, estimating a value is difficult.
Based on the weight you stated and my estimation of how the knives are constructed, I believe the scrap value to be in the range of $7,000.00. However, it would be difficult to receive that amount from a scrap dealer because he would have to build in a profit.
There is a set for sale at www.antiquecupboard.com for almost $13,000.00 but I don't think an individual selling a set could get that much.
Generally, a buyer wanting a set for personal use will pay the highest price. A buyer who likes unique things would be perfect. However, it's tough finding such a buyer. eBay.com is one way.
As a start, you might contact www.antiquecupboard.com and ask what they will offer you. At least you can obtain a benchmark.
After you've reviewed this, feel free to ask a follow up question.
