QUESTION: Reed and Barton Mirrorstele.

Answer
Hi, Joe.

I believe this is the Regency pattern from Reed & Barton. It is made of stainless steel. Reed & Barton's trade name for stainless steel is "Mirrorstele". Normally, I would estimate the value of a stainless steel pattern to be very low, maybe a dollar or so per piece. However, it seems that there is a demand for pieces in this pattern. It's probably coming from people who want to add to their existing set. So, the value if sold by an individual might be in the range of $5 to $15 per piece, depending upon the specific piece involved.

You can check to see if I have the pattern right by looking at the pictures here: http://www.replacements.com/webquote/RDSREGE.htm#573457 . Don't dwell on the prices you see. An individual would not be able to command those prices.

If this is not the pattern, let me know.

Best wishes,

Jim

If you would like to find buyers of silver, you’ll find ads from such businesses on my blog site: http://www.SilverChatter.com . Look for sellers as well because they have to buy their silver somewhere. You may have to reload the screen a few times to see all the ads.
