Silver and Flatware/Silverware


I have some Gorham silverware that I believe may be silver plated.  The back says Patent 1880 Gorham then there is an anchor and an X.  I don't have a lot of it, mainly table spoons and they are engraved with the name Murrey.


I believe you are correct about the pieces being silver plated. The pattern appears to be Princess Louise. The custom engraving probably reduces the value which is not great to begin with. An individual selling this set probably could expect a dollar or two per piece, perhaps a bit more for serving pieces.
