About Amyea
Expertise You can ask me anything about The Simpsons. I often use quotes from the show in everyday conversation.
I can answer questions on the shorts.I can identify quotes (which episodes they are from). I can do my best to find the answers to questions about others in the Springfield community. I have seen every episode at least five times if not more. I have all four of the Simpsons albums so I know a lot about the songs on the show,I can tell you who does which voices. I can answer questions about names of characters, which celebrity does the voice of which guest star.
Experience My experience:
Ten years of watching The Simpsons.
I watch two episodes per night if not more.
I own several "The Simpsons" DVD's.
I own four "The Simpsons" albums.
I own several "The Simpsons" books.
I have all of the Tracy Ullman shorts.
I own a "The Simpsons" quiz game.

Subject: theme song
Question Hey Amyea,
I am looking for the simpsons theme song without the words "the simpsons" in the beginning. I'm getting married next month and I would like to use the song as our intro music and dub in "The Blisses" in the song in place of "the simpsons" would you know were i might be able to obtain a clean version of the song with no words in it?
thanks
Jon
Answer Hello
First let me say i'm so sorry or not coming back to you for so long, i'v had a problem with my email account and i didn't get the message.
Secondly what a wonderful idea for a wedding!
Thirdly as far as I know the part of the song that says 'The Simpsons' doesn't have any music behind it so if you could get someone to sing that part and then just start the music after that it could probably work. I myself have never found the theme without 'The Simpsons' in it. I suppose you could even get someone to play it on guitar if they were good, i've seen that done a number of times.
I'm sorry i couldn't be more helpful.
