About Max
Expertise
I have been skateboarding for around 7 years; I have extensive knowledge on street skating, including all sorts of flip tricks, tips on popping higher ollies, grinds, slides, rails, ledges, and park skating including transitions.

Experience
Before you email me asking "how do i kickflip??" you should practice it, what can I do, magically make you learn it? All I can do is give helpful tips, so try to ask serious questions, please. Also, I can and will not sponsor you, so don't bother asking.

Skateboarding - ollie

Expert: Max - 7/24/2006

Question
i am practicing my ollie on a carpet, and i have a couple problems.
1)i still get freaked out on falling
2)i cant get the board in air
3)everytime i try, my left leg kicks out for some reason
4)when i try to slide my foot on it to lift the board up nothing happens
5)when i do get it in the air my board goes flies 3-4 feet in front of me
i think that my rear leg is holding the back down but i'm not sure

Answer
Hmm. Weird. You should get over all fear first of all, or you'll never get it. Besides that, all I can do is tell you to find a little guide online somewhere, use google, and try the technique. Not much else I can think of to help you. Keep practicing.
