Question
hi.

i wonder whether you can help me. it's a bit of a strange request, but please bear with me!

i'm in the process of drawing a cartoon for a friend, and it is based on someone skydiving.

basically, what i'm looking for is a few simple photo's, but i havent the foggiest where to look - so maybe you can help, either by sending some photo's you have, or by pointing me in the direction of a good website.

i'm looking for some specific photos:

a) a front view of a person falling. with their arms out and legs behind them.
b) a photo from inside the aeroplane, looking directly at the door people jump out of... either army plane or private plane...
c) view from above a person skydiving (to get their shape)
d) a view of someone jumping out
e) a front view of a parachute being deployed
f) a front view of a person with parachute fully open

Basically, a photo video of a jump from start to finish. My idea is then to simply draw these shapes and add my friends face.

I'd be grateful for any help, thanks!

Mark

Answer
Many of the pictures you seek can be found in "Parachuting, The Skydiver's Handbook" which you can obtain in your local library or through the website www.parapublishing.com.

You can also visit website www.dropzone.com and even www.uspa.org to find many other pictures and sometimes streaming videos.

Blue Skies!
