yes, I am certain you should be able to find a position in Slovakia. I also suggest that you check out work opportunities in Prague - in the neighbouring Czech Republic.
Both Bratislava and Prague host a number of big international companies. Your choice would be narrowed down if you don't speak Slovak or Czech - but it's quite common nowadays that the internal communication language in software companies is English. I myself have colleagues who do not speak a word of Czech or Slovak...
