I have a teenage boy of 13 years old and he needs to mix with others sometimes, we are thinking of staying in poprad and making trips out to the park and spa, any idea greatly appreciated,coming by trian from Bpest, have done Tatras two years ago, but need to stay somewhere with other activities(not pricey) Regards

Hi Katey,

one thing that comes to my mind immediately is the Aquapark in Poprad, or the one near Liptovsky Mikulas. I am sure there will be many kids around in summertime.

Also, I am sure you will find activities for teenagers in Poprad or even places like Stary Smokovec or Strbske Pleso (in the High Tatras), or Jasna (the Low Tatras). I don't know the details, but it's best to visit the local information centre, and ask for details.

I would think there may be some organised outdoor activities for kids (hiking, biking, perhaps rafting...), or simply places to go (not organised in a group) like a mini-golf or a bowling centre... But I don't know any details; as I said, it's best to ask at the info-office.
