AboutSam Expertise I can answer questions about the country`s history, culture, politics, economy, geography. I speak fluent Slovak. If you are planning a visit, I can recommend the places to see - especially the nature in Slovakia is worth it.
Experience I am a Slovak which makes me an expert in the language and culture. I am also a traveller so I know Slovakia quite well. I will do anything to find out the answer to your question.
Thank you for being willling to answer questions. I am sorry to bother you,
but I cannot find anyone here who specifically says that they know about the
Czech language, and you have said that Slovak and Czech are similar. I am
having trouble correctly translating this short technical passage about an
armored firefighting vehicle. I checked with professional translators, but
many of them demand large payments ($100+!) before they will try, even
though the passage is very short. I tried a mechanical translation program
and was able to understand most of it. For example, I think that the last part
must mean something like: "Manufactured by the Mechanical Plant at
Arzamas." However, a few of the worlds seem too technical and they will not
come out correctly. Perhaps there is a way you can help? Thanks.

paradoxically, the text is in Slovak, so you have the full right to be asking here :-) I guess that may have confused the Czech translators a bit. Anyway, here it what it means:

Side-to-side distance between wheels (mm):

I have no clue what light height is. In Slovak it is ambiguous just as it is in English - it could theoretically mean the height at which the lights are, but the word "light" can also be here as an adjective (in which case it is probably a technical term I don't know).
Nor do I know what Armaz is. It could be a place, sounds kind of Russian - perhaps you know better.
