Question QUESTION: Hi!!! I have a small windows and doors company. I made a mistake with an order, but it was to late to change it so I need to order again the material. The windows manufacturer signed a notice of commencement to my client because I didn't have the money to reorder the material. If my company don't pay that amount, they put a Lien on my client house. Right now I still don't have the money ($12,000) and my client is asking me the release. But the windows manufacturer does not want to gave me the release unless I pay the $12,000. I don't know what to do, I'm so desperate. I owe too my warehouse rent, I want to close the company. I filed as a corporation. What happen If I closed the company? There is any way that I cannot pay that money?
