Question Helo I have a JD 160 Riding Mower, with a kawasaki motor FB46OV I replaced the starter and a new battery. It will not start. Turn key and nothing!

The key switch may be bad,first check the starter by jumping the hot wire of the battery to one side of the starter,if it starts then the starter is good. Next check the solenoid by jumping the small wire to a battery positive. Now if the starter turns then that piece is good. which leaves the key switch,fuse or a safety switch in the mower check the clutch switch the neutral switch and the seat switch.
