Question I just installed new fuel hoses to my engine as the old ones were cracking and I also replaced the tank as it had cracked as well. I am now having a hard time keeping the engine running. I notice that when i turn the fuel on the carb fills up and spills over. Wondering if there is any adjustments i can make.
Answer Clayton
The problem sounds like the carburetor float is sticking it may be time to rebuild the carb. Pieces of trash get lodged in the carb needle valve and causes it to stay open.If you know how remove the carb and try cleaning it out with a good carb cleaner, you will have to take the carb apart. Make sure you know how you removed all the parts even from the mower linkage. This way you can put it back the way it was, take pictures if you can and document your steps.
