Question David, i'd like to know what you think of the swisher model wb11524 brush mower with a briggs and Stratton 11.5 hp engine.it's the cheapest one of the lot at $1,229.00, but is it worth it.thanks john
Answer John:
Both Swisher and Briggs have been around for a long time. I have some experience with this unit. I am assuming it has an INTEK engine on it. The only complaint I can ever recall on this unit is that an enduser complained about excessive vibration. Personally i think the vibration came from a bent blade.
The only other thing I can add is that this engine needs to maintained properly. Be sure to change the oil regularly and make sure that the cooling fins and debris screens are not plugged. If they are plugged the engine will overheat and will have a very short life.
IF you take care of it it should last you many years.
