Question
I have a 15HP briggs and noticed that the fuel was flowing out of the carb filter housing.  This occurred after a normal use and shutdown.  I suspect that the solenoid on the fuel bowl is shot.  Is there a spring action in the fuel solenoid or does it just always seem loose?
Thanks

Answer
hello Ken,
It sounds like an easy fix! The answer of it being loose is no! If it was running than it is all working fine! That solenoid you are referring to actually holds the float bowl on! I think what happened is that the vibration of the motor loosened it! At the top of the solenoid it is flat on two sides to allow for a wrench to tighten it.All you need to do is find the right size wrench and tighten it!Good luck,
Jason
