Question
This is the first time I have bought an outboard motor.    I have an old outboard motor that I am trying to get running. Its a Tecumseh and Numbers are 633-2 6A  4548322. I was wondering if you could tell me the year and horsepower. I took in the coil, condenser and points into the auto store and they ordered me what they had. Everything fits right but still not getting any spark. Any suggestions?

Answer
I can not answer this question personally, but I can direct you to someone who can answer the question.  Your going back a good 30 or so years.  Do you have an actual TECUMSEH outboard, or is it an ESKA outboard?  Call Phone: (763) 576-0901 X120  They have been a Tecumseh distributor for a very long time and can help you.

Good Luck
