Question I have had this mower for at least 10 years. It has just started blowing oil out of the bottom of the oil filler neck. I'm wondering if I just got too much oil in or is there an "O" ring / gasket gone bad? The oil also seems hot and thin. The mower runs normal. Thanks for any help.
Answer Hello Bill:
You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Then Select Lawn Mower. Then Scroll Down to your Model and Select it. Then Select the Cylinder Barrel File. The O-Ring for the Oil Fill Tube is Breakdown #'s 30 and 31. Check the Oil for Gas Smell. Make Sure the Engine is Not Overfilled. The Crankcase Breather May Be Clogged and Require Cleaning. These are Breakdown #'s 5 thru 8. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
