Question
I have a Kohler Courage 23 hp v-twin engine.  Recently, the oil sentry light has come on.  I changed the oil and filter, and had a guy who works on mowers look it over since the light did not go off.  The oil level was never low either.  He didn't find anything wrong with the engine, any suggestions on why the light would still be on and what I should do.  Thanks

Hello Brent:

Replace the Sensor. They have a Tendancy to go Bad and the Sensor Light Will Not Go Out. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Engine, Please. Technical College for Gasoline and Diesel Engines. This was a Full Course on Complete Dis-assembly and Repair of ALL Components pertaining to Engines, Transmissions, Rear Ends, Electrical. I Found the Small Engines to be Interesting because they are Small and Simple.

Past/Present Clients
I have worked on small air/water cooled engines for 34 Years. I performed warranty work for Lowes of Wilson and other retailers in the area. I Own a Yard Maintenance and Certified Small Engine Repair Service Center.
