Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.) - Lawn Boy Model 10227

Expert: John C. Bridgers Sr. - 8/23/2006

Question
Just getting back to you John on that Lawn Boy that surges at idle speed but runs good at full speed. At the momment I'm not interested in spending sixty dollars for a new carbie.  So will use it as it is for this summer and work on it again this winter.  That carbie is so simple that I can't believe there is something wrong.  But your advice sounds good to me.  Starting cold it idles good for a half minute and then surges so maybe it is getting to much gas.  Many thanks for your help and support.  Appericate it very much.

Answer
 Hello Wayne:

The Carburators are the Simplest yet the Hardest Part of a Mower to Get Cleaned and Repaired Right. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. MAy All Your Mechanical Problems be SMALL ONES. Thanks for the Email.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
