Question
I have a Sears 3.0 hp gas edger. I need to know the spark plug gap dimension and also am wondering where I can find a manual for it.

The model is #536.797522 (code#205502939). I assume it is a Tecumseh engine because the air filter is Tecumseh. I cannot find any name or # on the engine housing.There is a number stamped next to the engine (143 824012 ser20368)but I do not recognize this as an engine number.The current spark plug in it is a Delco R45.

In regards to a manual for it, I have looked at www.outdoordistributors.com for the manual and they do not have one for it. Are there any other avenues I can take in order to possibly obtain one?

Yes this is a Tecumseh Engine (Model 143.824012). The Plug is Usually Gapped at .030in - .035in. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers. Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing.
