Question hello there, I have a craftsman mower model number 917.252501, 42" riding mower with a 6 speed transaxle. My problem is that I recently removed my deck to fix the belt and upon re-installing, I have everything together except one bar with a clamp the would make my belt engage and disengage. I have looked at the manual and the deck and can't figure where it goes. Please help if you have any info.
Answer Hello Kyle:
There Should be an Idler Pulley on a Piviot Bracket that the Rod Pushes or Pulls to Tighten the Blade Belt. I am Looking at Other Sites for a Better Picture of the Idler Pulley. If I can Locat One I will Follow Up to you. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
Respectfully
John
