Question I need a picture of how to hook up the carburator and choke linkage on a 5hp 4 cycle briggs-stratton lawn mower engine. It is on an old, old Sears Craftsman mower. Appreciate any help.
Answer Hello Kennington:
Go to this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Click on the B. Then Select Briggs and Stratton. Then Select Dont have Part Numbers. Using the Engine Model and Type Numbers Select the Folder for your Engine. Then Select the File for your Engine. This will Download a Complete Breakdown of the Engine. From the Breakdown you May be Able to See how this Hooks Up. If Not, then Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. I May be Able to Locate a Better Diagram for you that shows the Hookup Better. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
