Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.)/carburator diaphram

Question
Im sorry but I must have not worded my question correctly. I need to know where on the carburator to put this diaphram. The gentlemen at the parts store was trying to help me determine the problem with my carburator and even showed me a picture of a diaphram from the parts book. I can get one, but once I have it im not going to know what to do with it. Where in/on the carb is this thing supposed to go. I do not currently see one on my carburator as of now.
Thanks again.
Michele

Question -
I have a 6.5 hp cCraftsman self propelled mower. Form the reserch Ive done on my problem I need to replace the diaphram on my tecumseh carburator. Ive seen pictures of this part, but I have no idea where it should go. I've taken my carb off to clean it. Turns out it did not need to be cleaned. I have been looking for a diagram for the placement of the diaphram and cant find one.
Thanks, Michele

 Hello Michele:

Your Local Small Engine Repair Shop will have or be able to get you the Diaphram. However, You are this far so do a Complete Carb Overhaul. Also this site might have the part; http://www.outdoordistributors.com/.  Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

Answer
 Hello Michele:

Does this Carb have a Float? If yes then there is no Diaphram in it. As for where to put the new Diaphram, I will need the Model # of the engine. It is located just above the Spark Plug on the Metal Engine Cover. Im sorry for the Misunderstanding. Hope this will help us along.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
