Past/Present clients I have worked on small air/water cooled engines for 34 Years. I performed warranty work for Lowes of Wilson and other retailers in the area. I Own a Yard Maintenance and Certified Small Engine Repair Service Center.
Question I did not check other kits, although the, seemingly, more knowledgable counter man told me that he could be more certain of rebuild kit if I had numbers from carb-I did not have them available at that time. That shop is a day-trip for me, so I have not yet had opportunity to return. Carb does not have fuel return. You can see from some of the numbers that chainsaw is probably 25 years old-I bought it from Sears outlet store about that long ago. It has been ignored more than used.
Sears offers a kit for 2x$$ local shops. I may reach a point when time and materials = cost of new saw, but I hate to give up and send this to landfill when it is so close to working.

Question -
I have a 12" Sears 2.0 saw that has been neglected for several years. I have cleaned fuel tank and filter, replaced fuel lines, replaced foam air cleaner, and attempted to clean and rebuild Wablo carburetor, using universal Wablo kit, K10-WAT. Now, I choke for two pulls, open choke, saw starts and runs for a few seconds, as it runs, fuel begins to overflow from tank filler cap and engines stops.
I assume that I made some mistake with the carburetor? The kit had a replacement fuel pump diaphragm, but the did not have a valve diaphragm that matched the old one, so I re-used the old one. Could that be the problem? Two parts places told me this is the right kit, why wouldn't it have the correct diaphragm?

Did you look at a D2WA&T Carb Kit? The Model Number of the Saw will Help me. Does this Carb have a Fuel Return? The Diaphram Does need to be Replaced and the Small Needle Under the Diaphram has a Specific Setting Also. You will Need to Locate a Diaphram. Send me the Model of the Saw and I will Look in my Catalog for the Kit or Replacement Diaphram for you. Hope this Helps.

I am showing several Rebuild Kits for this Carb. Take the Carb Numbers and Get a New Kit. Replace the Diaphram and be sure all the Ports and Passages are Blown out with Air. Let me know what happens. Hope this Helps.
