Question Was wondering your opinion on brand of chainsaw? Not for pro use. I had a local mechanic tell me that homelite is cheap. So I guess I have narrowed it down to Stihl, poulan pro, or husky. What is your opinion on these? I realize the poulan pro is about $100 cheaper, is it a fairly good saw for the money? I am looking into the 45cc range. Any advice helps, thatnks.
Answer Hello Imcdill:
I have no Use for Stihl. Over Priced and all you Pay for is the Name. I use Poulan or Husqvarna. Poulan Gives Very Good Service for the Price as Does Husqvarna. I Mix All my 2 Cycle Oil at 32 to 1 and Havent had Any Problems with Either Saw(other than chain, bars and Carburator Rebuilds) for Over 14 Years. Hope this Helps. Thanks.
