Question
I have a Kholer 15.5hp (m#cv15s) in my Craftman tractor. It will not charge. I've changed battery and stator, still nothing. Could the regulator-rectifier be the problem? I've checked for pinched or grounded wires. Thank You

Answer
Could the regulator-rectifier be the problem?
Its def. a strong posibility.
Put a multimeter to every posible wire, end to end and trouble shoot that first. Check out your voltage on your battery, make sure it's pulling correctly.
Before sinking alot of money into the tractor get the breakdown on the motor to verify everything looks the way it should.
Good luck.
