Question
this sounds insane, but I am in BIG TROUBLE!  I borrowed my Dad's riding lawnmower, which is hard to do because he says I tear everything up, and a lizard ran up in the engine and evidently my black Lab was trying to get between the hood and the engine, he managed to rip out all the wiring! the gas line and bent a metal piece, which i bent back.  my brother said he could fix it if I can find a manual.  It is around a 2000 or 2001 year model.  also, it will not start sometimes, we have had the starter looked at replaced the battery and nothing seems to work.  it does not turn or make any noise, sometimes it starts right away, and then sometimes you have to push the start lever up really hard, then it will start to turn and then catch.  i am mainly concerned about getting the wiring done though before my Dad wants the mower back!  Thank You!

Answer
Hello Leigh:

Go to this Site Addy, http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Upper Left Search Box and Click Go. Then Visually Verify the Equipment and CLick Continue. From this Page you can View Diagrams or Parts Lists for you Equipment. As for the Starting Problem, it Sounds like the Valves are Out of Adjustment. This is a Common Problem with the OHV Engines. It is a Simple Task. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. the Model Number are Similar to this Example: 532.XXXXXX for the Mower and the Model Numbers for the Engine Vary Depending on the OEM. I May be Able to Get the Engine Model Numbers if you Send me the Mower Model Numbers. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck

Respectfully

John
