Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.)/where is oil drain plug?

I recently purchased a new 21" Craftsman push lawn mower, Model 247.372370 and couldn't believe it does not have an oil drain nut on the bottom like my old mower did. I don't like the idea of turning this mower on its side nor using a siphon pump to drain the oil. I can only guess the lawn mower manufacturers save money by not installing a drain plug. To me its a total lack of common sense not having a drain plug which has been done for decades in the past.
