Question -
toro8-32 model 56138, rebulited starter new gear and brushes, installed it along with new battery turn key and it justs clicks.

Answer -
 Hello Ted:

Take a Jumper Cable Set and Using One Lead, Jumper the Soleniod. Place 1 lead on the Large Post on 1 side of the Soleniod and FIRMLY Touch the Other large Post of the Soleniod with the Other End. If the Starter Turns, then the Soleniod is Bad. If it Doesnt, then the Starter or Battery is Still the Problem. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John

Answer
 Hello Ted:

Jumper from the Positive Post of the Battery to the Large Post on the Starter. This will Bypass the Soleniod too. A Starter will Turn Good with No Load, but when a Load is Added it will Drag. If it Turns the Engine Properly when Jumpered then the Soleniod is Bad. if it is Slow Turning when Jumpered this way, then the Starter is Bad. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
