Question my zero turn mower will run fine when just sitting but when you engage to pto (blades) it cuts for about fifteen min. and then dies like it's not getting fuel please help ps. it's then model 6140 thank you.
Answer Hello Jr:
Check the Gas Tank Cap and Ensure it is Venting the Tank Properly. A Bad Cap Creates a Vacuum in the Tank and the Gas Cannot Free Flow to the Fuel Pump. Check for Fire at the Plug/Plugs when this Happens. A Bad Coil will Cause this. A Bad Shut Off Solenoid in the Carburetor Bowl (if the engine has one)will Cause this Problem Also. Send me the Model and Type Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
