Question Self propelled mower will start after pushing the 'bulb' to give it some gas, but will not continue running. If I push the bulb 2x it will run a bit = if i push it 5 times to give it some gas, it will work a little longer, but just enough for the amount of gas I have given it. It's like it's not getting the gas once it is started. Help, I can't get it to a repair shop (I'm female and can't get it loaded into my car)
Answer Hello Pat:
From your Description, it Sounds like the Carburetor Needs to be Cleaned. Remove, Disassemble and Soak Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner (I Use Gunk). Then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air and Install a New Kit if Required. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
