Question I also have a Dormeyer Mixer 4300. It works very well but I got a beater stuck that will not come out. I started to take it apart but then got scared that I wouldn't be able to put it back together again so I stopped where I was. I am ready to try it again, any suggestions as to how to get the stuck beater out?
Answer Beaters are held into the drive gears by a spring or snap ring on the end of the beater. They should pull out easily but sometimes they get turned in the gear. The best way to release them is to try to turn them back to the original starting point. If this does not work, try some WD40 on the shaft where it goes into the mixer. Let is sit for a while and try again. You may have to resort to prying the beater out but be careful as beaters are very hard to find for Dormeyer.
