Small Household Appliances - Sunbeam electric skillet power cord

Expert: Wayne Kiefer - 11/5/2009

Question
I have an old Sunbeam electric skillet Model #FP-11A with the control unit on the handle.  The power cord has broken.  The cord end has 2 prongs and the distance between their centers is 1/2 inch.  Do you have any idea where I can find a replacement cord?

Answer
You have to measure the distance between the center points on the prongs on the fry pan not on the cord end.  It should be about 1 3/8" or 1 1/2".  There will be center hole in the fry pan for the heat probe to fit into.  We stock two different probes and you can give us the measurements when you call to place an order.  Please call us at: 608-221-3322.  Thank you.
