Question
My speed control only operates on high speed and I mean HIGH. I cleaned it but it didn't solve the problem, what can I do? It is from the 1980 's. Thank you.
Answer
If a older type Sunbeam only runs on high the first place to look is the capacitor. If you repalace the large capacitor the unit should slow down. If you would like to order a repalcement capacitor please call us at: 608-221-3322 during normal working hours and we can send you one. Keep in mind that this may not be the problem as I have not seen your mixer. The capacitor has to be soldered into the speed control.
