Question
Wayne:

Where would you connect the ground wire on a 1950s Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 10A? I am replacing the power cord with on our unit.

Thanks for you help!

Ken

Answer
The green ground wire has to be connected directly to the case to eliminate shocks.  There may be a screw somewhere in the cord area.  If you can not find one, you can drill a small hole in the case and use a metal screw to secure it. We always replace original cords with grounded cords.  Good luck.  If you are looking for parts for your model 10 we have a limited supply of used parts.
