Remove both of the screws from the handle, under the front handle is a small nut remove that nut. Remove the knob for the speed control it has a small screw in the back of the knob. That allows you to slide the upper half of the mixer off the lower half. you will then see a small nut with washer that hold the lower halves of the mixer together remove that then remove the strain relief washer on the power cord to slide the halves apart to reach the wires.
