Is Billy Howerdel a former member of Smashing Pumpkins? Did Smashing Pumpkins tour with TOOL in 1992?

hiya! no, i dont think Billy Howerdel was ever a member of the smashing pumpkins, i know he was in A Perfect Circle, in which Maynard James Keenan, the lead singer of Tool set up as a side project, and the bassist paz went on to play with Billy Corgan in Zwan, and now James Iha is playing with A Perfect Circle!So the Smashing Pumpkins,and A Perfect circle seem to have a close relationship!if you could give me a specific time of month in 1992 and place ill find out if they played with tool, do you mean support tool, or tool support them, or did they play a festival where they were both on the bill?please let me know and i will help you as much as i can!
