Question i myself was a pumpkins fanatic and still love their music. now that they have broken up, 4 years later billy posts a message on why really the pumpkins split up. He said it was james fault. Why was james such a moron and not say goodbye to billy and jimmy just darcy what happened to billy and james relationship even though they broke up i heard they haven't even talked since whats up with that
Answer Yeah, I read the same entry by Billy. The sad thing is, the Pumpkins internal relationships are kept pretty hush-hush. Billy has never been one to divulge that type of information willingly, and its only now because it was so long ago that he decided to tell us anything about the break up at all. We still dont have the REALLY REAL REAL reason why D'arcy left, though we have all speculated it was her drug addiction. But as far as Ive heard, Billy hasnt said that specifically. "To pursue outside interests" was the most Ive heard from him about D'arcys departure. So the only thing I can do now is speculate. But thats gotten me nowhere, because I NEVER would have guessed that differences between Billy and James would be the reason for the Pumpkins breaking up.
So, Im afraid I dont know the status of Billy's relationship with James. Im sure no one knows right now for sure except for Billy and James themselves.
