Little details and things that may be totally insignificant for some people, but they mean a lot to me. for example: Spaceboy was written about/for Billy's younger brother, Jesse, who has a rare genetic disorder. Thats rather common SP knowledge, but it's an example. Also, I know most lyrics off by heart to most SP songs, and stuff like that. Ask me pretty much anything about SP. I will most likely have the answer!

Question
did the smashing pumpkins ever appear on the simpsons.. if yes did they perform ,?
and what was the plot

Answer
Yes, they appeared on the Simpsons in 1996. They "performed" Zero (but it was only the album's studio version) at a festival called Hullabalooza (supposed to be like Lollapalooza), which Homer brought Bart and Lisa to. Homer got hit in the stomach with a canon ball but didn't get hurt, and as a result was asked to go on tour with the festival as part of the freak show. He made friends with the Pumpkins. If you scroll wayyyyy down the page here: http://www.snpp.com/episodes/3F21.html
you can read parts of the script in which Homer is talking to the Pumpkins.

Sorry for the long wait, this website wouldn't let me send this a couple days ago.
