AboutPaul Expertise I can answer specific questions about colubrid snakes (kingsnakes, milksnakes, corn snakes, and Eastern Indigos). I can also answer general question regarding husbandry (feeding, shedding, housing) for most other types of snakes.
I am not an expert in boas or ball pythons so you might consider asking one of the other experts specific questions about these.

Experience I have six years of experience in the keeping and breeding of common snakes.
Question heya, just two quick questions! i know a corn snakes adult size will vary
between 3 and 6ft, but how old will most snakes be when the stop growing?
the second is, my snakes skin when she shed it last time, was 100cm exactly.
she looks to me to be around.. maybe 85cm? her tank is 95, and i think shes
about 10cm short of it, her skin obviously stretches when she sheds it.. but
would you know roughly by how much? does a 15cm stretch sound too
much? or is there a more accurate way of measuring her? just interested to
know really.. cheers! josh
Answer when the snake stops growing will depend on how much and how often is fed. You can feed the snake a bare minimum and it could take up to 5 years to reach adult size.
Yes, the shed skin is longer than the actual snake, but I don't really know by what percentage.
