Education/Credentials I believe that my at home experience as well as the hours of research I have done about the Ball Python is training enough. As mentioned before I can answer questions about Pythons and Boas, but my expertise lies within the Ball Pythons. Question ok i've had 2 14 foot burmese pythons and two little 1 foot ball python well my newest ball for some reason will just stop and stare in to space for a while and he'll just keep stretching his jaws none of my other snakes have done this before can you tell me whats going on and is she ok..
Answer Hi Drew,
Not sure, it may be just something your snake does.
If there are other symptoms, like not eating for a long period of time where the snake gets thin and sickly looking, there is a chance it could be IBD dicease not something very common in pythons as it is in boas.
