Question
custom built wooden cage
custom built wooden ca
I'm getting a adult male dumeril boa soon and I was searching about them and some people dumeril boas like to climb even though their ground dwellers. So is this a good cage for my adult? I don't like tanks because they dont hold proper temps and humidity. Everyone has diffrent sayings about this snake so I decided to ask a expert instead....what can you say about this snake care requirements and temperment because I want something docile like my burmese python and redtail?

Answer
Durmeril's boas are no more difficult than your average r edtail or burmese.  Maybe even easier as they don't keep as big.  They CAN be difficult to get started feeding as babies but otherwise not difficult.  The cage looks great.  Hard to clean by great otherwise.  Enjoy your new addition!
