Question
I have a 98 ZR600 and it bogs out and has a back fire everyone once in a while. I dont understand what would make it do this.

Answer
Well my first thought would a bad spark plug or a weak spark one one of the cylinders.  Check to see that both plugs are good or just replace them all together. If it is a weak spary you may need to replace the coil. I would also try and clean the carbs out.  You can just try and run regular carb cleaner in the gas tank or take them all the way off and clean them out.  Try this and if it doesn't work get back to me. It may be a more serious problem.
