Question
My niece just sent my sister a e greeting for her 60th birthday which reads "may you have good health and happiness during the remaining years of your life" My sister got insulted and wanted my views on it. I find the e greeting very tacky. I would like to know your views on it? I think it is improper wording. What do you think. Please advise. Than you.

Answer
Dear Tess,
Thanks for asking this great question. I agree with both you and your sister. What an inappropriate way to phrase 'best wishes'. Your niece should know better than to send an e greeting in the first place. You'd think she could muster the ability to send a nice card. Someone didn't teach her very well. I hope this helps. Jay
