Question We have an employee retiring after 38 years of service. When we send the invitation to her husband, do we also include her name on the invite? What is the proper way to invite the guest of honor?
Thank you
Colleen Hiltman
Answer Dear Colleen,
Either speak to her or write her a note.
Dear Janet,
On July 3,we are planning to hold a small party in honor of
your retirement from Frobisher,Hayes and Newton. It will be in
the conference room and begin at 3:00 p.m.
This celebration will be a minor reflection of the value we
have placed on you and your contributions to the firm as well as
a way to let you know you will be missed.
Best regards,
Etc.,etc.
That should take care of it for you,
Amanda Gamble
