Subject: wedding gift

Question
How much money is appropriate these days to give at a wedding?
This is a close friends daughter.
Thanks

Answer
Dear Susan,
As I do not know you or your financial situation,I cannot answer
your question. Two dollars might be too much for a single mother
to  spare, twenty thousand may mean nothing to a billionaire. It's
all relative.

Look at your bank balance and make a decision based on your level
of affection for the couple.
                               Best regards,
                                  Amanda Gamble
