Question
I am invited to my cousins wedding however my 6 year old daughters soccer final and award ceremony is the same day, would it be appropriate to miss the church ceremony and only attend the reception?

Answer
Dear Shannon,
Explain the situation to your cousin so that there will be no room
for misunderstanding or hurt feelings. I am sure they will understand
and just want you to come help celebrate their special day in any
way you are able.
                 Best regards,
