Social Etiquette and Good Manners - acknowledging birthday cards

Expert: Jay Remer - 10/23/2009

Question
Is it necesisary to acknowledge greeting cards  ?

Answer
Dear Frank,
Thanks for asking this good question. Although it would not be appropriate to acknowledge a card with a note (unless it had a nice fat check in it), a simple call would be appreciated unless an in person thank you is possible. I hope this helps. Jay
