Question
I have twin daughters who are both graduating from High School this Spring 2010. Virtually ALL recipients of the graduation announcements will be the same. Is it appropriate to send one announcement for both girls, with both names enclosed?

Thank you for your inquiry for invitation etiquette. First, I must congratulate you and your daughters on their impending success graduating high school. This is truly an exciting and rewarding benchmark for your family.
Announcements for graduation are just that announcements. Since there is a deep binding relationship between the two girls, I do not find anything improper in sending one announcement for both. In fact, I think it would be odd not to do so since there may be friends that might be only known to one and not the other.
Do go ahead and plan to announce the special date and relationship between the two. I wish you and your family a warm sunny graduation day!
